Junji Kachi
CFO and Executive Vice-President, Administration
|
Junji Kachi joined Teikoku Pharma USA, Inc., (TPU) in January, 2006. Previously, Mr. Kachi worked for Astellas Pharma Inc., (Formerly Fujisawa Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd.,) for 33 years. At Astellas Pharma Inc., Mr. Kachi served in an executive position with the International Pharma Division, Chemical Division and Medical Supply and Systems Division.
In the early ‘80s, Mr. Kachi worked in the Fujisawa London office as a Marketing Director for their pharmaceutical products. Thereafter, during the early ’90s, Mr. Kachi was CEO of the American subsidiary of a Chemical company located in Chicago.
Throughout his career at Astellas Pharma Inc., Mr. Kachi acquired broad experience and expertise in the global pharmaceutical and chemical business, which has enabled him to take a leadership role with TPU.
Mr. Kachi received his Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan.
